Spark of Inspiration.
This is the first animated short film I have decided to tackle and to do on my own. This project stemmed in the midst of COVID, when I woke up to a message from a friend I haven’t spoken to in a while, who shared something that just reminded them of me. The thoughtful action lead to this project, as the title reveal is about that feeling when you are thinking of someone or someone is thinking of you.
The multiple drafts.
I had multiple sketches for some frames before reaching my final frame. Some almost reached the light of day - purely working alone has thought me many lesson and one greatest being - revise, revise, revise.
Almost there.
After many drafts, I reached a style and frames that I was finally happy with.
