Animation Stage

This piece was animated on After Effects, for about 4-5 hours. Most of the decisions made for animation have been decided during the design phase. Here are snippets of the animation process and composition breakdown.

Design Frames

These are two key design frames, created on IIllustrator. The contrast with the colours after the hand lifts our character was an important aspect and so the other colours in the palette needed to match for both dominant backgrounds.

Concepts & Sketches

The initial concept for this project was to create a narrative piece that explores this quote, through environments and characters. Th piece later evolved to a more abstract form that focuses on the feeling and sentiment from this quote.

Here were the early sketches from the original concept, that later shifted to what it is now - a shorter form abstract piece.
